Join us to mark the Summer Solstice — a time of light, vitality, connection and celebration.
Together, we’ll gather outdoors on the green of St George Bowls Club for an uplifting community ceremony involving breathwork, song, somatic movement, yoga, drumming, voicework, ritual and a mini sound bath — all gently woven together through storytelling. Through these ancient and embodied practices, we’ll ground together, connect into ourselves and one another, and tune into the energies of the Summer Solstice.
This is an invitation to pause, breathe, move, listen and connect in community. Come as you are, and leave feeling more attuned to your body, your voice, your community and the living world around you.
This is a gentle, inclusive space: all bodies and abilities are welcome, and everything is optional—rest, take things at your own pace, and adapt movements however you need. Chairs will be available if you’d like to use one.
Please bring a cushion to sit on and a yoga mat and blanket if you’d like to lie down and get cosy during the mini sound bath at the end of the ceremony. You are also welcome to bring a shaker or drum if you have one and would like to play.
The ceremony will be held by Emily and Ailie, both trainee priestexes with the Bristol Goddess Temple.
Emily Doe, also known as The Dandelion Bard, is a heart-led artist, author and space holder who inspires others to ignite their inner creativity.
Ailie Tam is the founder of Yoga Rewild, a yoga and somatic teacher and sound therapist who weaves breath, body and sound practices with Celtic wisdom to create immersive journey experiences and rituals.
Suggested exchange: £10 / £5 (under 16s). This is a community event and we want it to be accessible to everyone.
