Autumn is the season to harvest, nest, release and prepare for Winter. We can harness these energies into a journey of transformation to attune and support our transition towards Winter.
The Autumn Equinox marks the moment when day and night become equal in length and is astrologically the start of Autumn and the dark half of the year. We can honour this point of balance by taking time to pause, drawing our awareness to what is happening astrologically, in nature and our inner landscape. By marking, we can check in where we are at in the lunar, solar and planetary cycles and within our own life cycle. We can also call in the energies from nature to amplify the qualities within us that can help us thrive in the darkness.
This special Autumn Equinox yoga practice, sound bath and tea ceremony will take you on journey to explore these inner and outer landscapes, following the cycle of the breath and the light of your intuitional wisdom which offers guidance as we step into the dark phase of the solar cycle.
The yoga practice will weave Celtic folklore, Yoga and movement with the resonant sounds of ancient instruments. As you move and breathe, these sounds will amplify the energies of the practice, guiding through various states of being and into the depths of inner wisdom. Descending to the soothing vibrations of a sound bath, space is created for feelings of connection, for insights to emerge and for the body's natural healing mechanisms to activate.
As we conclude this ceremony, you'll be treated to a freshly brewed seasonal herbal tea and nourishing snacks. Together, we'll raise a toast to the Autumn Equinox, the festival which has brought us together and to the shared journey undertaken.
